No. Local Energy handle design, install, maintenance and monitoring, so your committee doesn't have to. It's largely set-and-forget.

Can it run our floodlights at night?

Yes – a battery stores daytime solar to run evening training and fixtures, and you stay grid-connected as backup.

Will it disrupt our season?

Installation is scheduled around your fixtures and calendar to avoid clashes.

Do we own it, or lease it?

Either – you can own the system outright, or use a PPA where you simply buy the power it makes.

Go Media Stadium is New Zealand's first solar-powered major sports venue. Our installation partner Endless Energy fitted 1,651 panels across both grandstands – one of the largest rooftop solar installs in the country – designed to cover around 60% of the stadium's annual power needs.
